Dear Consignors:

            Another great Bucking Horse Sale is on the tap for 2008!  The “Cowboy Mardi Gras” is alive and well!  We will have much the same format this year with preference to proven and bred to buck Bulls and Broncs.  We will limit numbers so consign early.

            Friday night will be bulls only.  There is good demand and plenty of buyer inquiry.  We really need more bulls!  There's $2,000 added for the top bucking bulls by judge’s scores.  All bulls need a health, TB, Bangs, Anoplas and a Trich test within 30 days prior to arriving.  If you have any questions on health issues give us a call.  We will receive bulls as early as Wednesday, May 14th.

            Saturday will be Broncs and Barebacks.  There is $4,000 added for the “Bucks for Broncs”.  All horses must be Coggins tested and have a health if coming from out of state.  ATTENTION! - There must be a drawn picture of the horse along with a written description of what the horse looks like on each coggins paper.  Montana horses can be done here at the yards.  Again this year we will start on proven horses followed by horses with actual outs, breeding program prospects and finish on general consignments.  No studs will be allowed unless they are prove hauled horses or from proven breeding programs.  All studs have to be negative for EVA.  Horses must weigh 1,000 pounds and be at least 3 years old.

            We will be able to keep consignments separate at least until they are moved to the rodeo grounds.  The sale is limited to 150 horses so consign early as we have filled for many years.  Receiving dates are Thursday, May 15th and Friday, May 16th.

            Come early and stay late!  The concert will be held Thursday night.  Sunday is our Ride of Champions Matched Bronc Riding.  It has grown to be one of the best matched Bronc Rides in America.  We will provide pari-mutual betting for the matched Bronc Ride along with our usual Calcutta.  We will have an all class open horse sale Sunday morning, May 18th at 9:00 am.  All consignments from saddle horses to loose horses are welcome.

            The Bucking Horse Sale is one of the last venues for horse racing in Montana.  We race Mother’s Day, May 11th and Saturday and Sunday, May 17th and 18th.  There is a full agenda of events for the Bucking Horse Sale!  Remember RV’s are welcome and camping prices are very reasonable.
